Jeff, president of SFG, Inc, is a Certified Financial Planner® with over 30 years experience in the financial services field. As a fee-based registered investment advisor, his financial and investment counseling skills specializes in Retirement, Investment and Estate planning.

As a contributing author to several financial magazines and newspapers (Minneapolis Star Tribune, St. Paul Pioneer Press, and Meridian Magazine), Jeff continues to share his interest in enhancing the quality of life for the local and general financial community.

He is a graduate of Brigham Young University and holds a masters degree in human resource administration. With six children and a growing number of grandchildren, his interests center primarily on home, family, writing and reading.

J.J. formally joined SFG in January 2005 after 3 years of planning experience working for other financial services companies. He serves as an associate planner with Jeff to assist with all client needs. His responsibilities additionally include business development, associate analyst for asset allocations and strategic planning partner.

J.J. is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and is currently studying for the Certified Financial Planner® exam.

He and his wife Caree have three children. He enjoys reading, history, music, travel and the outdoors.
